Analysis of first contents page. From this contents page you can tell that this magazine is aimed mostly at adults. I can tell this by looking at the bands which feature on the contents page. Bands such Primal Scream, The Who and The Stranglers have all been around for a while, younger people have probably never heard of these bands. The whole contents page has an old school look, the pictures on the right look old, there is a muppets picture and also a smasher photo, these are old fashioned characters which the target audience would have experienced when they were younger.
'50 greatest reggae albums' and 'Bob marley' also feature in this magazine which lnks with the mood board I designed for this magazine, I had Bob marley on my mood board and marijuana which he is commonly associated with. Overall this contents page suggests that this magazine is targeting people who aren't into mainstream music, these people are probably into old school music by bands who arent really heard of, they are also fans of reggae music.
The magazine contents list of features is on a piece of paper which is surrounded by old fashioned pictures, the 'Mojo' magazine title is in the same font as it is on the front cover. The features are also in the same font as the title is.
Analysis of second contents page. The 'NME' logo is the same colour and font as it is on the front cover of the magazine. The colour scheme throughout consists mainly of three colours; black, red and white. Overall when I look at this contents page I think that it looks very much like something you'd see in a newspaper, this tells me that NME isn't just about music.
This layout is common to an NME magazine, there is the list of bands down the left, then the regular things like news, reviews and features down the right side. The main picture in the centre of the page is of the Astoria theatre, which is a well known music venue in London that has now closed down.
